We make sure our residents start the day right with a filling breakfast including cereals, fruit, toast and porridge, plus a daily changing choice of hot options. Our Residents are welcome to have breakfast any time they desire, and we are happy to accommodate their morning schedule. Between Breakfast and Lunch, we offer mid-morning cake and coffee. I have been very happy with the care the staff have given my mum, especially at this hard time.

We Care Group provides the activities coordinators with all the tools necessary to enhance the well-being of our Residents. Each Home is a NAPA member, which means each month, we receive a variety of activities and ideas; our activities coordinators can also get trained and develop their skills as well-being coordinators. Providing accommodation for up to 30 individuals who require Nursing, Residential or Dementia care. InBroadway Nursing, we believe in helping enrich the lives of people with dementia to ensure they are happy and fulfilled. Here atBroadway Nursing, we have a dedicated activities coordinator responsible for creating a monthly activities calendar. All our staff re-train every year in dementia to keep our knowledge up to date to ensure we provide the best care. She was suffering from terminal cancer but was in no way mentally impaired. She is ultimately responsible for the effective and professional running of the care home but will allocate time to discuss any aspect of our Residents care or any problems they may be experiencing. Activities & Services
Many of our bedrooms are larger than the required standard, for either single or double occupancy. Yes, we have access to GPs at all times and for emergencies, we have a Hospital close by ambulance. If not, there are several good GP practices nearby where some of our residents are registered. As long as the practice you are registered with is happy to travel to the nursing home it is possible to keep your GP. Residents are invited to personalise their bedrooms by bringing their own ornaments, pictures and any other objects of personal significance into the home. All hot water taps have temperature control and are checked weekly to ensure the right temperature for the comfort and convenience of our Residents and all of the bedrooms have matching bedroom units.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. There was a nice feeling when we were walking around and the rooms were well-presented and spacious, perfect for my dad’s situation. I am very grateful for the care and support my dad receives at Broadway Nursing home. The skilled nursing department is a wonderful way to improve the independence of each resident. Our therapists are trained to work with the geriatric population utilizing the latest technology in our treatments. The two separate lounges on the ground floor both feature high ornate plastered ceilings and bay windows.

Broadway Manor offers a wide array of activities designed to meet individuals needs, stimulate minds, and encourage physical activity. Our professional and certified staff is available 24 hours a day to assist with your individual needs. Our family includes a physician, and a team of geriatric rehabilitation specialists such as Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists. Providing accommodation for up to 24 individuals who require Residential or Dementia care. All three outcomes can be achieved through residents interaction with the table and the carer guidance. The Deputy Manager supports the role and takes charge in the absence of the Manager. Broadway is situated in an area that is mainly residential with a range of shopping, and recreational facilities and is easily accessed by public transport. Broadway Nursing is a single-storeyed building and shares the site of a former school with our sister home Broadway Residential. The building retains many of the features of the former school, like the assembly and recreational halls, being adapted for use to provide communal areas for residents. To help maintain dignity and privacy to all Residents at all times by respecting their wishes and treating them as individuals.
